Lip Filling or Lip Lift Surgery?
Lip lift surgery and lip filler are two different procedures used to volemize the lips. Both methods aim to improve the appearance of the lips; however, there are significant differences in terms of application techniques and results obtained.
The simplest method for making lips more prominent is lip filler. Hyaluronic acid fillers are generally preferred as lip fillers. Lip lift is a surgical procedure preferred especially to shorten the distance between the upper lip and the nose. Shortening the distance between the upper lip and the nose also lifts the upper lip.
Lip filler is not permanent like lip lift surgery. It needs to be repeated. Lip lift surgery offers a permanent solution. With lip lift surgery, the distance between the lip and the nose is shortened and lip thinness is eliminated. Therefore, the relationship and proportion of the lips with the face are made more harmonious. With this procedure, the aim is to give the face a younger and more dynamic expression. On the other hand, the length problem between the lips and the nose cannot be solved with lip filler.
