Dr. Can Alper Cagici was born in Adana in 1971. He completed his primary school and high school education in Adana. He then attended Medical School at the Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey) and graduated in 1996. Following graduation, Dr. Cagici joined the Hacettepe University Medical School (Ankara, Turkey) Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, completing the residency in June 2001. He worked as an otorhinolaryngologist in Baskent University Adana Teaching and Medical Research Center for 18 years. In 2017, he was titled as “Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery”. He has been working in his private clinic since 2019. He is married and has two sons.

He visited Prof. Dr. B. Tucker Woodson as an observer at the Medical College of Wisconsin in July-August 2012 to gain experience in sleep medicine and surgery.
He visited Prof. Dr. Vijay Anand as an observer at Weill Cornell Medical College in August 2012 to gain experience in skull base surgery.
He visited Prof. Dr. Stephen W. Perkins as an observer at the “Meridian Plastic Surgeons” Clinic in February 2015 to gain experience in facial aesthetic procedures.
He visited Prof. Dr. Vito Quatela as an observer at the “Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery” Clinic in November 2015 to gain experience in facial aesthetic applications.
He visited Dr. Steven Dayan as an observer at the “The Chicago Center For Facial Plastic Surgery” Clinic in April 2018 to gain experience in facial aesthetic applications.
He visited Dr. Andrew Jacono as an observer at the “New York Center For Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery” Clinic in April 2018 to gain experience in facial aesthetic applications.
